A journalist in the industrial city of Saltillo was kidnapped and fatally shot, and a threatening message was left on his body, his newspaper, Zócalo, said Friday. The journalist, Valentín Valdés, was forced out of his car as he left his office on Thursday night. The Coahuila State attorney general's office said Mr. Valdés was probably attacked by drug gangs.
